Fire victims Leave a Comment / November 6, 2019 November 6, 2019 Peter and Paul were rescued from the Lake Innes Nature Reserve bushfires. They each have burns to 90% of their bodies, and partial thickness burns to their hands and feet. They will be in care at the Koala Hospital for months to come. It is great to see them eating again! Here are a few bush fire victims being cared for at the Koala Hospital. This weekend I will make a first donation with your generous gifts. THANK YOU! L.I.N.R. Kerrie was rescued from the barren fire grounds of Lake Innes Nature Reserve. She is remarkably unburned, unlike her homerange. This video shows her release into our prerelease yard, that she will share with other young koalas (juveniles) until she, and her habitat, is ready for her release. Sharing is caring: Thank you!WhatsAppEmailTweetLike this:Like Loading...
