The Adventures of Pipp

The Adventures of Pipp

For those of you who don’t know me (hello, where have you been?) my name is Pipp, tri-colour border collie from Belgium. On December 11th 2021, a nice human came to collect me from my litter to join her in what was to become my forever home. From what I have heard, she was once the human of a pretty amazing border collie named Gulliver.

When he passed away on December 18th 2020, she was heartbroken and her world pretty much fell apart.  She needed time to grief and said she never wanted another dog again.. until she saw my pretty face of course. Can you blame her?

As I grew older she got to do more fun things with me and our bond was getting better and stronger.

A few weeks ago we went camping together for the very first time and I can tell you, it won’t be the last time! Just have a look at some of our top moments there! For those of you interested, we went to one of Huttopia’s campsites in Normandy (France).

My human is now busy preparing for that next trip. Today I had to go back to the vet to get a rather good tasting tablet (against worms) and she will have to show some prove that I am fully vaccinated (of course), rabies included. Here’s a link to the current rules & regulations to enter the UK with pets.
It looks like it’s going to be one hell of an adventure. We are going to cross the Channel, actually we are going underneath it: I’ll get to ride a train that goes all way from mainland Europe to the isle that is called England, all the way up to Scotland. We are going to combine camping and staying with mum’s friends. Some of them she has never met. Because of Covid she had to cancel her volunteer trip to South Africa to work for and with Wildlife ACT (have a look on this site under Projects to find out more) three times! During that time she and other volunteers got into monthly zoom calls to keep them sane.  This trip will be a bit of a reunion trip, but with people she hasn’t actually met yet… Humans!  😉

Anyway, I am planning to show you some fantastic, lovable people, amazing places, views that will leave you in awe and so much more.

England & Scotland here we come (and watch out because my human has to drive on the other side of the road! Thank goodness I’ll be in my car crate!
I’ll do my best to send you all some regular updates.
